ACNM Annual Meeting Abstract Awards

The ACNM is pleased to offer several abstract awards each year. To apply for the above grants, you MUST submit an abstract to the ACNM Annual Meeting. You will be prompted to select which of the awards you would like to apply for during the abstract submission process.

Ralph Blumhardt Award

ACNM will select up to four best abstracts submitted by a resident training in a developing nation with each winner receiving $250 and a certificate. If the lead OR presenting author is a resident training in a developing nation, you may check the box during the abstract submission process to be considered for the Ralph Blumhardt Award. A supporting letter from a program director must also be submitted. *Only residents are eligible for these awards.

The Ursula Mary Kocemba-Slosky, PhD, Awards for the Best ACNM Nuclear Medicine Research Abstracts

ACNM will select the best abstract submitted by a resident or trainee to receive a $1,000 prize, with the second and third place winners receiving monetary awards of $500 each, as well. If the lead OR presenting author is a resident or trainee, you may check the box during the abstract submission process to be considered for one of the Ursula Mary Kocemba-Slosky, PhD, Awards for the Best ACNM Nuclear Medicine Research Abstracts. A supporting letter from program director or supervisor must also be submitted. *Only residents and/or trainees are eligible for these awards.

Younis-Bashir Award

ACNM’s Scientific Committee will select the best abstract originating from Pakistan (oral or poster) submitted to the annual ACNM meeting to receive a $250 prize. The objective of this award is to encourage the Nuclear Medicine fraternity in Pakistan to reach out and share their clinical and research work in the international arena.  *Open for all presenters/first authors of abstracts from Pakistan.

If the lead OR presenting author is NOT a resident or trainee, you may check the box for this award during the abstract submission process. *Only nonresident and/or trainee are eligible for these awards.
