ACNM Fellowship Eligibility and Nomination Requirements

• Must be a member of the College for a minimum of 3 consecutive years (any full, honorary, emeritus, corporate, or affiliate member of the College is eligible). 
• Expected to continue as active member of the College
• Must be a board-certified nuclear medicine physician who is recognized as having provided significant and sustained service to the ACNM or extraordinary and sustained contributions to the field of nuclear medicine in general; and who has evidenced to their peers superior competence, integrity, and maturity in the application of their nuclear medicine knowledge and skill.
• Nominations are initiated by an ACNM Fellow in good standing. A nomination packet includes:
  • the completed Fellowship nomination form signed by the nominator and nominee (the nominator may submit a letter in lieu of completing the form)
  • the nominee's CV
  • an additional nomination letter from an ACNM Fellow in good standing.
• At least one of the ACNM Fellows supporting the nominee must work in a different institution from the nominee.
• Nominations submitted to, reviewed by, and finalists are selected by the ACNM Fellowship Committee
• Final selections are voted on and elected by the ACNM Board of Directors
  
  

Eligibility Requirements for Honorary Fellowship of ACNM

• Is not required to be a member of the College
• Expected to continue to be actively involved with the College
• Must be a board-certified nuclear medicine physician (or with international credentials as similarly recognized in the USA) with a current leadership role of an international sister organization
• Nominations may be initiated by the nominee or by another ACNM Fellow
• A nomination packet must be completed with a least one recommendation from another ACNM member included in the packet.
• Nominations submitted to, reviewed by, and finalists are selected by the ACNM Fellowship Committee
• Final selections are voted on and elected by the ACNM Board of Directors
• As with other honorary members, there is no right to vote, hold elective office, or serve on the Board of Directors, but may be appointed to committees
