Bital Savir-Baruch, MD, MBA, FACNM
Thursday, July 9, 2026 @ 12pm EDT
Join us July 9 for a members-only webinar on breast imaging. This webinar will provide a practical, case-based overview of PET imaging in women’s oncology, highlighting its expanding role in breast and gynecologic cancers.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the clinical role of FES PET/CT in ER-positive recurrent or metastatic breast cancer, including appropriate patient selection, preparation considerations, interpretation limitations, and potential impact on treatment planning.
- Summarize guideline-based applications of FDG PET/CT in gynecologic malignancies, including cervical, endometrial, ovarian, and vulvar cancers, with attention to staging, recurrence detection, response assessment, and radiation or surgical planning.
- Discuss emerging PET tracers in women’s oncology, including FAPI and amino acid-based imaging, and explain how these approaches may complement FDG by targeting tumor biology beyond glucose metabolism.
CME accreditation information available soon.
