Bital Savir-Baruch, MD, MBA, FACNM
Thursday, July 9, 2026 @ 12pm EDT

Join us July 9 for a members-only webinar on breast imaging. This webinar will provide a practical, case-based overview of PET imaging in women’s oncology, highlighting its expanding role in breast and gynecologic cancers.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the clinical role of FES PET/CT in ER-positive recurrent or metastatic breast cancer, including appropriate patient selection, preparation considerations, interpretation limitations, and potential impact on treatment planning.
  2. Summarize guideline-based applications of FDG PET/CT in gynecologic malignancies, including cervical, endometrial, ovarian, and vulvar cancers, with attention to staging, recurrence detection, response assessment, and radiation or surgical planning.
  3. Discuss emerging PET tracers in women’s oncology, including FAPI and amino acid-based imaging, and explain how these approaches may complement FDG by targeting tumor biology beyond glucose metabolism.
