Join fellow ACNM members for this one-hour webinar which will review the 2025 ATA guidelines for adult differentiated thyroid cancer and translate them into practical management decisions for nuclear medicine and multidisciplinary oncology teams.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Summarize key updates from the 2025 ATA guidelines for adult differentiated thyroid cancer, including risk stratification, post-operative assessment, surveillance, and the evolving role of radioactive iodine therapy.
2. Apply guideline-based principles to I-131 therapy decision-making, including patient selection, treatment intent, response assessment, and recognition of radioiodine-refractory disease.
3. Explain the biologic concept of iodine resistance and describe emerging redifferentiation strategies, including the use of tyrosine kinase inhibitors to restore iodine avidity and support personalized treatment planning.
