Course Summary:
Nuclear medicine has played an important role for many years in prostate cancer imaging, mainly for the identification of bone metastases. Since the introduction rapid adoption of PSMA radioligands, clinical indications for PET/CT prostate cancer imaging have greatly expanded. In this webinar, we will review current radiotracers and their role in prostate cancer imaging, review various options available for PSMA imaging in prostate cancer, and discuss emerging radio tracers who may hold promise to localize and treat some prostate cancers that may not express high levels of PSMA.

Course Objectives:

  •  Review the current role of molecular imaging in prostate cancer management.
  •  Identify current PSMA imaging radiopharmaceuticals, approved and emerging.
  •  Discuss novel radiopharmaceuticals being developed as theragnostic pairs for prostate cancer imaging and therapy.
