ACNM Annual Meeting Abstract Awards
The ACNM is pleased to offer several abstract awards each year. To apply for the above grants, you MUST submit an abstract to the ACNM Annual Meeting. You will be prompted to select which of the awards you would like to apply for during the abstract submission process.
Chaudhuri Family Breast Cancer Abstract Award
Drs. Tapan K. Chaudhuri, MD and Tuhan Chaudhuri, MD established The Chaudhuri Award for Best Abstract Involving Breast Cancer Research. The award is given in memory of Dr Chaudhuri’s two sisters (Prof. Tandra R. Chaudhuri, Ph.D., a scientist who devoted her life to the research involving Molecular Imaging of Cancer, and Mrs. Tamasa R. Mallik, BA, a Homemaker) both of whom died of breast cancer. Recipients will receive a $500 prize and certificate at the ACNM Annual Meeting.
Alexander Goottschalk Best Clinical PET Oncology Abstract from ALASBIMN
The Alexander Gottschalk Award is recognized as the top award for the best abstract on Clinical Oncology PET presented by a medical doctor (MD) from a member country of the ALASBIMN (Latin American Society of Biology and Nuclear Medicine). Established in 2012 by Dr. Carlos Bekerman, the recipient will receive a $500 prize and certificate at the ACNM Annual Meeting.
Hussein Abdel-Dayem Early Career Investigator Travel Award
Hussein Abdel-Dayem Early Career Investigator Travel Awards Established in Dr. Hussein Abdel-Dayem’s memory, this fund enables the Hussein Abdel-Dayem Early Career Clinical Investigator travel awards for the American College of Nuclear Medicine.
Younis-Bashir Award
ACNM’s Scientific Committee will select the best abstract originating from Pakistan (oral or poster) submitted to the annual ACNM meeting to receive a $250 prize. The objective of this award is to encourage the Nuclear Medicine fraternity in Pakistan to reach out and share their clinical and research work in the international arena. *Open for all presenters/first authors of abstracts from Pakistan.

The ACNM Annual Meeting Awards
ACNM will select the top two best abstracts from non-residents or trainees, with each winner will receive $500 and a certificate. If the lead OR presenting author is NOT a resident or trainee, you may check the box for this award during the abstract submission process. *Only nonresident and/or trainee are eligible for these awards.
